Travels with Carol

I love traveling to beautiful places. I feel compelled to check out natural wonders before they disappear forever due to climate change and cultural destruction. I also love visiting places where people have lived for a long time, and preserved their traditions and civilizations. It has been an adventure for me to learn about the people who have lived in "America" for thousands of years who sustained themselves while preserving the environment. I am grateful that with some traveling, I can still find clean water, fresh air and dark night skies away from light pollution. Thanks to the underfunded National Parks Service, National Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, numerous state parks systems and the efforts of the people who visit or live in these still pristine areas, we still have some places where one can continue to see the wonder in creation.
